Apple Extends Free Apple TV+ Trials Until July

Once again, Apple plans to extend its free Apple TV + trial subscriptions, this time through July. When ‌Apple TV + ‌ launched in November 2019, Apple offered free subscriptions to ‌Apple TV + ‌ to those who bought a new Apple device in September 2019 or later.

Those free subscriptions would expire in November 2020, but in October 2020, Apple announced that it would extend the free trials until January. It now appears that all free viewers of ‌Apple TV + free will receive extended access until the end of July.

‌Apple TV + ‌ subscribers who had a subscription scheduled to expire between January and June will get extended access at no cost.

Customers paying for ‌Apple TV + ‌ will be credited $ 4.99 for each month through July, as noted by 9to5Mac, so paying customers will not be unfairly affected by free trials provided to other ‌Apple TV + users. ‌.

Customers who are eligible for the free ‌Apple TV + ‌ extension will receive an email within the next few weeks.

The extended free trial period gives Apple time to present more original content to ‌Apple TV + ‌ viewers before they have a chance to cancel their subscriptions. Apple has been constantly building its ‌Apple TV + ‌ content catalog, with the second seasons of many of the original launch shows coming out in January and February.
